Can someone please help me 2003 kymco zx 50 super fever

so I got a 2003 kymco zx 50 super fever there is no cdi box on it I ordered one for a kymco 50 yup

I cannot find ZX50 or Super Fever listed when I look for parts on Kymco dealer websites.  Is this model called something else?

There is a article in (motor scooter guide)  that talks about the ZX50. They were. Imported from 2001-2006 and use the same 2.stroke engine as the super 9.

The article goes on to say people use the Honda af18e/af16e to de-restrict the scooter.  The engine is a clone  of the  Honda Dio scooter.

The article goes on to state how to adapt  the module to fit.

     yeah you are right honda dio clone so I put that kymco yup 50 cdi on there just with connecters the color of the wires were the same on the scooter and cdi will a kymco yup 50 cdi work on it still no spark what could be wrong with it someone please help

       my 2003 kymco zx 50 super fever the engine is a clone from a honda dio some parts will work on it there is no connecters to plug in the cdi just wires so I got a kymco yup 50 cdi through the mail yesterday and hooked it up with one connecter per wire there all the same color will that work still no spark can someone help me its gotta be something easy

This may sound silly but it has happened to me a few times.  Is your kill switch on the handlebars in the run position?  If no spark, I would start there.  Then test the switch for continuity...then cdi... then check for continuity between negative battery terminal and cylinder head to test grounds.

IGNITION SYSTEM
No spark at plug
Faulty spark plug
Poorly connected, broken or shorted wire
-Between A.C. generator and CDI unit
-Between CDI unit and ignition coil
--Between CDI unit and ignition switch
-Between ignition coil and spark plug
Faulty ignition switch
Faulty ignition coil
Faulty CDI unit
Faulty A.C. generator
