Need New Wheels
« on: November 04, 2022, 09:37:26 PM »
I have a 2015 450 UtV and I hit a hole recently and bent a rim. It’s taken 3 weeks so far waiting on a factory wheel to replace it with no end in sight. Can I buy wheels from another brand and swap them?  I know several brands run the same lug pattern and offset. Thanks in advance.

As long asvthe hole pattern and offset is the same you will be fine. Try and match the rim width if you can but not a critical dimension.
I picked up a set of Yamaha rims as spares to mount my old tires on, when I bought new ones.

What brand?

have to look at the boxes they came in, try to remember that, I don't have the stagger with them, and since I put em on, they haven't come off, even for winter plowing, they have as good grip on ice as my set with Trygg chains, got a brand new set of offroad tires on my set of Yamaha wheels, saving them for real mud.  I do remember I paid less than $400 for the wheels, and about the same for the 205/70-15 winter tires, they are a hair over 26" tall, and about 9" wide, I run em at street pressures, so the trail ride can get bumpy
