Cant say what all has changed on the 2017 models, but on my 2015, the switches that activate the lights for the shifter are inside the xase where the shift mechanism goes. On my unit, adjusting the linkage can make those lites come in or go off deoending on position of shifter. On mine, when the reverse lite comes on, my machine is not actually full reverse and if I adjust for full reverse engagment, then the light won't work... I woukdn't think the ecm would control this, however....what has changed over those two years??
