couple of nice 1st gen LIKE's
« on: February 06, 2023, 04:21:21 PM »
Owners in Asia do some nice stuff with their scooters....
Custom job....including the crash-bars! (which, don't look like they'd do much to protect in a drop&slide!)

European 125 edition here below.....

N.America received the blue & white LX version of the LIKE's ($100 extra for both the 50cc and the 163cc), which were often green and white in Europe.
S.America, Asia and Europe got mostly 50 & 125cc versions of the LIKE. Though I heard that in some parts of Europe you could special order the 163cc "200i" model.

Still some left-overs avail. in the USA.
If mine blew up tomorrow - I'd go looking for one. Swap my seat, mirrors, case & crash-bars onto it!

Nice seats on both of them too.

Oh, but that butt-killing ridge is right under there waiting for anyone larger than an Asian!
I too had a pretty seat - I could never go more that 40 mins without tearing up. 20 mins was the norm - before I had to get off.
