Daughter was laughing and saying that she will tell her children about the time she lined up with her pop at 5:30am, in the dark, under armed police*, to buy toilet paper, at Kroger's....while they were practically giving gas away....
*I told her to wait near the store while I went to bring the truck around. An older lady told her, "honey, you need to go back inside and wait, where that policeman is. These days no telling what some will do for that ...." looking at my daughter's 24 roll!
I brought her along for the experience.
