Why would someone want to " Destroy" this scooter?

Stumbled upon this gem on facebook marketplace today an 07 Aprilia MX. A well made scooter of a reputable brand. The seller stated in the description that if it wasnt picked up by eight he would be destroying it. I prey someone picks it up. I would but it is too far from my location. All it needs is a new rear wheel. This form will not allow me to attach a picture so instead I just posted the link.
