Hot Seat
« on: July 23, 2023, 10:42:23 AM »
I have to park my x-town 300i in the sun while working. That black seat gets pretty hot. Does anyone have a recommendation for a seat cover that would fit and keep my seat dry and cool while parked? I see plenty of universal covers on Amazon, but I want a decent fit.

I didn't want to spend a lot of money for that for my Burgman 650. I ended up simply measuring the seat carefully and then finding a box of really heavy mil black garbage/leaf bags that were longer and skinny that fit perfectly. There was some excess plastic bag that stuck out that I simply tucked under the seat when I closed it. The entire box of 24 bags cost less than half what a really cheap generic cover would cost that would fit. If the bag wore out I could just pull out another one from the box. Worked great to cover the seat. Packs really small

I normally jsut use a carboard box to put over the seat as well as over the plastics to prevent fading.
