Newbie Grand Dink 125 cc Driver
« on: July 17, 2008, 04:31:21 PM »
Hi all ,

Was just surfing around and found this Forum .

I'm a 31 year old Belgian ( you know that tiny country next to france and stuff) and im the owner of a Grand Dink 125 cc .
This since about 1 month with 1400 km on the counter .

The scooter itself is nice , a good sound , with a fairly good accelaration , even though with 2 on the seat . when going on to 100 km/h it gets kinda slow.

Anyway's , i hope to get to know more about the other Kymco's in the USA .

grtz From Belgium :-)

Greetings and welcome to the forums.  Its amazing all the places that Kymco riders come from.  This is truly a global company :)  I have almost 3000KM on mine so far.

I am the proud owner of a People S200 (see photos by clicking on the pic below)

Indeed , i'm on a dutch forum as well , and will sure tell them about this one , we are all curious about other types of kymco.

The S200 is a nice piece of work :-) . Is that the 125 cc ? or 50 cc . don't know it s the same in the states then with us here .

It is actually 163cc ... I'm not sure if they ship the same models to all countries.  I am glad that I bought mine when I did because the dealer that I got it from now cannot keep them in stock at all.  The truck comes in and they assemble the motorcycles and people are there to pick them up that very day :o

Welcome. :-*

Here in the US we only get the 250cc model It's renamed the Grand Vista and has a digital dash. We only get it in blue, white and, just recently they've added my favorite, red.

The Kymco USA site for the Grand Vista (Dink) can be viewed here:

Great scoot and a great country (was passing through WAY back in 1989).  Nice to hear from people "across the pond".  Be safe and have a great summer riding.
