Bi-Annual street fair in Y.S.
« on: October 14, 2023, 09:51:39 PM »
The weather radar-map was spot-on this morning!
It was pouring rain when I coaxed the women into the car for the drive down to Yellow Springs for the fall street fair.
It was supposed to - and did~! ,  stop raining at 9AM as we found parking on a side street, an easy walk to downtown.

The booths are in a double row from here, where I took this pic yesterday on my scooter run - to the green traffic lights in the far distance. Cement barricades go up to block off state rt. 68 thru the village.

Yesterday early morning....

Today....

Parked my LIKE here yesterday...

Today....

The line of chairs in the Mills Park hotel in Y.S.....blocking the easy route to their very nice rest rooms (for the guests~!)

A couple of days ago......

We started off the day today with breakfast at the UnderDog Cafe'......hair-raising coffee, still-warm pastries, egg & veggie breakfast burritos. All locally made or raised.

The Van Gogh Yellow walls - I like 'em! This place is known as the village living room. Open your laptop and spend a few hours, keeping a cup of coffee in front of you. Or not. Wine tasting from noon > 4PM today.

The rain kept early morning crowds down - then it cleared and they started bussing them in on shuttles!
I still found a spot on my Group W bench with my Dino's coffee while the ladies.....did whatever they do at these things.
