Are DrPulley sliders prone to flipping in LGE5 ( post 2011 ) variators ?

Hi !

Recently I got a problem with rear wheel spinning while on center stand on idle RPMs. I traced the problem to chinese 20x12 13g sliders that where flipping inside the LGE5 Variator Movable Drive Face with LGE5 ramp plate ( post 2011 DT300i  CVT config )- one flipped slider was enough to lock CVT in "second" or "third" gear and made any acceleration from standstill a challange 

That's a pitty because when they worked, the scooter had a perfect gearing for my taste which I can't replicate using rollers. 

I'm thinking about purchase of Dr Puller 20x12 13g set but I'm wondering if they have any better anti-flipping capabilities ?  Real life reports would be much appreciated from you guys

I don't have any experience with Dr Pulley sliders, but I did recently have a worn/stuck roller which caused very similar problems by locking the variator in 'gear'. https://www.kymcoforum.com/index.php?topic=33745.30

No problems either with NO NAME or original "TechPülley" squares. Best results on small scoots were with spanish made rollers, inexpensive.

Had once to try a set of yellowish/ orange, similar to DrPs squares, but tested its material and found it too soft to apply in my/any scoot.

On bigger scoots, 350 and up I've used only genuine DrPs or TechPülley over last five years. No problems on about twenty/ thirty scoots so far.
Additionally I polish and "dremelfit" ramps AND variator housing to avoid such complications.

I think its also a benefit to use only BANDO or MITSUBOSHI belts in our CVTs plus unglazing clutch pads once in a while.

Your mentioned flipped slider might have been caused by a weak counter pressure spring or sliders too narrow, 0.5mm is enough to topple.

I've used Dr Pulleys on a 163, 279 and 399 cc scooters with good results.
One does nave to be careful during the reassembly process - to ensure that the weights do not flip over - if you can do that, they should work fine.
