Thunder storm chasing me. In Feb??!

Light rain going out for coffee this morning - but I saw a lot of lightning in my mirrors! In February??!
Maybe it's too warm for Feb?
Overnight temps in the 50's.
Coming home was a race against the big grey clouds and the booming!  (if I can - I'd rather avoid soaking my electric heated gloves again?!)












I forget what they're building here next to my coffee shop. A friendly old guy ran a Hippie style head-shop in that location for decades. He passed and they tore down his building.  (for you few who remember Head Shops! Hand-made sandals, leather goods, east Indian fabric, clothing, brass lamps and incense burners, posters, etc. It always smelled good in there. Like the Haight! He and I both got old! )

we had some thunder boomers a couple weeks ago, not as common in winter months,  and even rarer in snowstorms but I've seen that a couple times too

I never thought you could get rain & fog at the same time until I rode over the Yorkshire Peninnes through fog & torrential rain a few years back!
