How many layers?
FoggToggs over the Bullet jeans?, how many shirts? Battery gloves?
I've learned the hard way -
"my chest is cold!"
- not to underestimate the chill at even my modest speeds in the early morning dark boonies.
I chose well.....
Moon was in and out.....

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

50 is my go/no go temp for long rides. I'll go for a short ride in the 30s or 40s but for a longer day ride I want the temperature to be above 50 for most of the ride.

50° is the awkward temp, at 30mph, the wind chill is down to freezing, on a bigger bike, that goes faster, down to the mid 20s
once is gets to the 40s easier to make the decision to use a heated liner rather than an extra layer
