A leisurely ride on a sunny day.....gets real d_mn expensive!
Rear tire took a large cut from a piece of metal. Towing and new tire installed ---$$~!

PS: got to know my tow driver pretty well - chatted while he worked and then in the cab with him to my dealer.
I asked about the oil slick on his bed - he said that was from the day before - he collected a wrecked motorcycle from a fatal rider incident.
I asked, "where?"
"Intersection at Greenon High School late at night."
I turn at that intersection every time I ride out for coffee.
Never did learn if it was the rider or the driver who blew the stop sign.
