The very hard to find OEM chrome crash bars were finally located, after many phone calls, at a scooter dealer in Texas. Here I finished installing the bars about 2 weeks after bringing the LIKE home.
They consist of 3 pcs, fairly easy to install and run from near the front turn light pods, down the leg shield, arong the floor and around the rear and back up to the other turn pods. So far, never have been tested! (my dealer was still awaiting the front fender crash bar)
A day later I installed some Italian long-stem mirrors to deal with my lack of rear vision.
Later I rebuilt the seat to double thickness and wired up the lighted Bestem top case.
An Iridium spark plug, some Dr P. weights and LED front running lights completed the modifications.
