XCiting 300iR, screen change to FACO
« on: August 21, 2024, 05:12:09 PM »
Scoots screen was "chemical-demaged" on the frontpart, so it had to be changed against a FACO screen which is a bit higher and wider (serves as hand/wind protector too) than the OEM stuff. Gives good wind shielding but a tick more noise-reflection in my opinion. Fits perfectely onto original mountings.
Its €74,- here in Italy, delivered, with new rubber and metal distances included.

yes, I agree, it looks great. I'm also amazed at the large amount of aftermarket parts support you have in Italy, and at good prices!

Many TXs, yes here the aftermarket choice is simply great. You get everything, be it filters, levers, brake assys, etc.

The shop rates are rising but gommistas (tireshops) are still taking only (wheel brought)
€€10,- to 15,-  for changing, balancing and disposal of old one.
Even some body parts (scooters) unpainted, are available.
Happy and safe scootering, Ruffus

Faco makes a better flyscreen for the Piaggio Liberty than the genuine Piaggio flyscreen.
Half the price and "0" glare-back!
And is now available in the States.

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.
