found an easy way to wash my scooters~!
« on: December 09, 2024, 07:25:07 PM »
After my rain ride this morning, I put my helmet on a towel, pulled my wet gloves off and set about cleaning my scooter.
Drew a bucket of warm water, and a hot pitcher of water with a couple capfuls of car/wax/soap.
I've tried all kinds of sponges and mitts to wash my scooters with - then tried a large new/clean/soft house paint brush.

It really makes quick work of washing the scooter. I've soaped it in 5 mins. Then I dip a large plastic glass in the clear warm water and rinse the scooter....avoiding the switches.
Grab a soft towel and give it a quick wipe.
I always start it to see if I've screwed up something. So far so good!

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

your scooters always look great, especially considering the conditions they are regularly ridden in!
