I have exactly the same on my Xciting 2007 from today when I wanted to make a ride after 2 Months
How you solved the problem?
I note, that scoot side stand, when down or up, affect to electric on board display. Maybe contact of this cable/sensor.

If this scooter has been used in salty road conditions it might be a corrosion prob or finally a dry soldering spot in your cluster.

Pls try following:
-check plus and minus cables at battery
-all fuses out and renew
-make a direct cable battery minus to frame or any blank point at the motor (jumpcable)
-open this hatch at the middle tunnel (where the fuelpump is located under) and disconnect/clean/reconnect all connectors and
plugs
(sidestand light ON on dashboard?)
-take the front fairing off
-check all connectors
-move all relays
