good Samaritans stop for a scooter rider
« on: December 17, 2024, 08:55:24 PM »
I have had a number of drivers, all ages, male & female, stop and offer me assistance when they find me alongside my scooter - usually in the dark, and often in the rain :)

When this happens I am nearly always closing on the village of Yellow Springs. Friendly folks.

A while ago -this fellow happened to come over the rise as I was taking a photo back towards Y.S.
He stopped and asked if I needed any gas or other assistance.
I thanked him, as I do all those who stop. And he went on his way.

A good Samaritan stopped for me again a few days ago. Pitch dark, raining.

Must admit - a fellow standing in the pouring rain and dark of night - along the roadside near a running scooter....probably looks like he might be in need of something.
Medication?!

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

Counselling? 😂

My Walmart health ins.policy only allows 3 sessions, lifetime.
 I used my 3rd back in '87.
The "incident with chickens".
