Thanks, I remember you and most of the other folks very well too !

I have not seen anything from Crossbolt in a while and hope he is still well. I remember his positive contributions to the forum in the past very well too.

Best wishes to everyone for new year !

In the meanwhile I find myself pretty stuck in cold whether - no scootering for the time being.

All I can do is watch Agility videos and keep on dreaming !

Karl (Crossbolt) was well the last time he dropped in on here.  His visits are far less frequent as age has forced him to give up scootering which is a loss for us too!  His knowledge is prodigious and his contributions on here useful.

I am sorry to hear about the reason for Crossbolt's absence. He was one one of the members who made me feel "at home" at this forum.
Since I've bought the Silverwing and Boulevard I joined other forums but I never experienced the "at home" feeling again.

Anyway, I hope Crossbolt will still just pop in and say "Hi" from time to time at the forum.
It can only be good to hear from him again.

In some cases, smaller is better. I had a Harley Davidson in 2000. I sold it and bought a Kymco GTI 300i in 2012. Then I bought a X-Town 300i ABS in 2021. Last January I traded down to a People S 150i ABS. In my case, the older I got, the smaller I went. I'm 80 now and love my People. It's light weight, easy to maneuver, and has plenty of pep for me. I think the size of the scooter should be determined by your comfort level riding it. As long as you're comfortable and enjoying the ride go for it whatever the size may be.

Before I've bought my latest Agility I was actually hoping to find a Kymco Bet & Win 250 in good condition but I could not find one. I think a Bet & Win should suit my future needs perfectly.

For the time being I still enjoy the Silverwing but I think  I will keep it just for another year and then maybe try to swop it for a Bet & Bet & Win in good condition.
I am thinking of keeping the Boulevard for another two years before I will sell it.
Scooters are just more practical and I hope to keep on riding as long as possible.

My "new" Agility finally ended up in my garage yesterday. I've told my wife about the scooter the day before yesterday and to my surprize my wife was actually exited about the scooter on my behalf. She actually helped me to load and unload the scooter from the trailer.

So I am looking forward to the next few weeks. My intention is to give the Agility a full service, including stripping and cleaning the Variator and clutch, and having a look at valve clearances.

Life is great, have a good day.
