Always watch for the 2nd deer
« on: January 23, 2011, 03:03:41 AM »
I saw the first one and ran into the second at about 40. Me and the scooter (Kymco 200) went down. Thankfully just bumps, bruises, and scratches. I'll go retrieve the scooter in the morning to see how it made out.

I have more than once encountered a pair of stupid members of human species, of female gender, usually age 10-15, that hold hands and go across the street. The first specimen, closer to me, sometimes also uses mobile phone and goes across the street without checking if there is incoming traffic. The second specimen is literally being dragged by the hand in front of me.

Almost fell off the bike several times this way.

Oh, yes, there are also "senior citizen", for example, a guy that is 100 years old and goes across the street with his FATHER who is probably 150, without checking the road, because the world will stop for them when they decide to cross the road. I remember having to slam the brakes on People once when it was raining, the road was extremely oily and slippery and they just jumped in front of me.
