« on: March 13, 2011, 06:41:00 PM »
Hey guys I just got a new agility 125 its time for my first oil change and I was wondering if someone could tell me what oil is best used for engine and differential and approximately how much and if there are any videos that could walk me through the process
Thanks in advance.

Basically.. look for "gy6 oil change" when looking for videos/info on that, or anything
else. The GY6 engine is very common among cheapo scooters so there's info on every
corner or the web.

As for the type of oil.. manual says 15W40.. but I've been using semi-synthetic 10W40
Mobil Extra 4T.. and well.. it works (14.000km now..), but I'll probably go for something
cheaper next time.

I think the common opinion is, use 10/40 mineral oil for the first 2000km then use synthetic, the reasoning being that the mineral oil will allow the engine to wear in quicker. I changed my gear oil at 500km for synthetic and it seems smoother, but will not put synth. in engine until 2000km
