Does anybody know
« on: April 17, 2011, 04:03:27 PM »
How to remove the frame body covers. I have everything apart except I can't get the frame body covers off. The manual show 3 screws on each side. The U.S. version only has 2 on each side. I have pulled it apart as far as I'm comfortable doing without breaking something. I am just trying to replace the floorboard but the manual states the body panels must come off first.  ( HELP )    Thanks  Tom

P.S.
I've tried removing the taillight to get in that way but I can't get that out/off either.  This thing is killing me.

for tail you need to take of plate holder, 3screws under...

then 3screws bellow tail light....then 6 on tail light...then 3screws at that little tail cover...and u get 2 m10 holding the light....

at last hole thing left -right-tailight come over the back...

its just too many screws, take ur time and easy....

Thanks MarioG. As it turns out I didn't have to remove taillight to remove those body panels. You just have to unlock (force) the body panels lose from the floorboard before the two pieces come off as one. You really don't have to disconnect the cable for the seat lock if you just replacing the floorboard.
