damn you, neutral!!
« on: October 15, 2008, 02:04:15 PM »
hey guys.

i've just bought a zing 125 for my wife to learn on and get a bit of practise with prior to doing her big bike test next year. the bike is in great condition for a 2001 bike and the only issue is that neutral is really tricky to find. i have a bit of trouble with it, but i've been riding for ages. as a real newbie, she's having a real problem. i'm thinking that having done 40,000 miles, (most of which are likely to have been by novices, as its 125cc), the gearbox could probably do with a bit of an overhaul.

does hanyone have any thoughts on what specifically might be causing it to tend to jump straight from 1st to 2nd and does anyone know where i can get a workshop manual. or even if one exists.

cheers

rich.

I just read the drivers manual from www.kymco.com -> Kymco Libeary -> Download.
The drawing on page 25 show that it cant go from 1 til 2 gear directly because it has to change to Neutral inbetween.
Anyhow i upload to my own website where you can download it from.
