Transmission Oil
«

Hello,
I'm new to this forum and to Kymco products.
I recently bought a lightly used '09 300 and in reading the owner's manual it says "SEA 90 oil" for the transmission. Is this a typo? What type of oil would it use?
Thanks!

That is 90 weight gear oil. You will see 75W-90 gear oil at the auto parts store, that is what you need. I prefer to run synthetic, usually use the Mobil One.

Thanks Shaka!
I had hoped that was the answer, but I just wanted to be certain. With it being new (to me) it always pays to ask. That "SEA" instead of "SAE" threw me.
