Dealer! Part of the service plan is THE DEALER gets paid for ALL the service under warranty. If the DEALER doesn't have the documentation for all the service the factory is released from responsibility. Yes it suck$. There are many of us that can perform better service to OUR scoots than the local MMMMmmmonkeys, but the factory depends on documentation. The Dealer depends on the factory. We depend on the dealer as a representative to the factory. TOO many cracks. Too much abuse. What happens when the real JOE needs help? Look on the bright side; there is ALWAYS Cinnamon... MMMMmmmmmm!!!

bumping this thread as I have the same question.  We just picked up a new 2009 Agility 50, and the dealer offered to perform the derestriction and stated the scooter would still be under warranty as long as they made the modification.

Does anyone have any experience taking theirs in for warranty work after the derestriction?
