kymco sat in sun too long...grey spot...how to fix

the bike i bought was sitting i the sun for too long. Where it is usually black (in front of your knees and above the back wheel..the mud protector piece)  it is now all grey splotches.
Is there anything out there I can use to bring it back to black?

Mothers Back To Black, but it has to be applied freuently, and may not restore 100%. There's a plastic paint that works, but it's a lot of work (and then you have to keep it out of the sun after painting).

Thanks for you help. Your advice got me rolling in the correct direction. I found many sites where someone tested various brands.
I wanted to share what I found with anyone else interested:

-Mothers Back to Black...lots of reapplying needed
-Forever Black....may be better the above
-Black Wow....much better then above but cost $$$ and you only use a very little bit
-BLACK AGAIN...THE BEST for far.....with my research of others using all these brands.

I went with Black Again..I hope to be back and let ya know how it works.

 All those work well, the main thing is to prevent it in the first place by using protectant on dark plastics and vinyl when they are new.
 I prefer non petroleum versions. Try not to use more than once a month after a wash. My bikes look new years later even in plastic and vinyl destroying Florida.

I use Turtlewax - back to black, usually do it every 4-6 weeks after i wash my scoot.

 I do all the black plastics, the tyre walls, carry rack and mirrors, makes a big difference.

Just make sure you leave it to soak in and moisturise the plastic before you buff it off.

 Don't do the tires if you ride in the rain. It runs down to the tread being very slick. I never do the tires.
