New Grand Vista Owner from GA
« on: June 14, 2011, 02:11:59 AM »
Just got a great deal on a 2009 White GV with 697 miles.  Rode it back from Atlanta from Alabama and had a blast!  The scooter came with a color match Givi Top Case and Tall Windshield.  All this for only $1750.00!   This is my second Kymco Scooter and I like the smaller wheels opposed to the larger wheels on my people 250.   I bought it to commute to and from work.  Trying to manuever a 900lb. BMW K1200LT in city traffic is short on the fun scale.

Just one question...Is there any way to remove the plexiglass cover to the instrument cluster?  Mine looks like there is a finger print on the inside of the plexiglass.

thanks

Wow, how many miles was that, what kink of speed were you doing? I read that your not suppose to go at high speeds for a long time according to the manual, I just dont know whats a long time is . I" ve been wanting to ride mine from san antonio to rockort {150 miles} , just dont know if thats too long for high speed and its usually pretty windy going there.  Anyway welcome to the forum and good deal on your GV

I think full break-in for the engine is 630 miles (1000km).
There is an oil change at about 300 miles and again at the 630.  Then you are good until 2,000 miles or so.
