Type approval needed
« on: August 23, 2012, 07:40:59 AM »
Hey guys. I currently drive an Agility 50, but i want to get it registered as a motorcycle when i turn 18, so i can drive on the road and at the local speed limit instead of 18 mph on the bicycle lane.

The problem is, that because i have done some effect-raising changes (injection, exhaust, possibly supercharger coming) i need some type approval that officially say some specifications about the Agility 125, so i can show this to the officials, and i will possibly be able to register my agility 50 as an agility 125 (with a smaller engine).
In Denmark, there are no type approval for the agility 125, only for the 200-model, which is very much diffrent in brakes and stuff. So have any of you guys got a type approval that you can take a photo of, or a PDF file?
Thank you very much. ;D

I found this manual, that compares the manual specifications of the two Agilities.
Comparing spare parts numbers, it seems that they have the same brakes and suspension system, so they are identical, if you ignore the engine size. This might mean that i can get my agility 50 registered as a motorcycle, but i think i will still need some official proof that they are so alike. Country doesn't matter, have anybody got some official type approval, that i can use to prove that my agility 50 is kinda an agility 125? :)
