dual sport tires?

anyone used dual sport tires on their ag? i had a set of perelli dual sports on my last scoot and i loved them but i can't seem to find any in 120-70-12 (front) or 130-70-12 (rear) so i was considering these kendas http://www.stadiumyamaha.com/pages/OemParts#/Kymco_USA/Agility_50/Cylinder_Head/2K03030005/2K03030007 because they're very cheap, i like the tread pattern for off road and i remember reading someone saying they were good but i need some better traction on road and in the wet as my stock tires are starting to slide out some in the rain not uncontrollably but i definitely don't like it plus the larger rear is something i've been planning to do for a while now thanks in advance :)

if i'm unable to find a truly good dual sport tire i am also considering the avon viper stryke and the bridgestone ml50 along with a few others so anyone that owns a set of either please let me know what you think of them :)

I just got a new set of Bridgestone ML50 Mola's delivered yesterday. Havent had them fitted yet, getting them fitted on Monday afternoon.

Like the look of the tread pattern over the stock tyres. Also wanted better grip cos my stock ones are bad in wet weather hence why I crashed the other week. They dont come cheap but are meant to be grippy in dry and wet so hope to feel a big improvement.

Will let you know how they are once I try them out for a few days.

sounds good streido please update once you give em a nice ride :) i rode my buddy's 150 the other day with michelin pilot sport sc tires just installed and wow! those things felt like i was riding on rails! much improved over his stock tires.. think i may try a set of those he said they did great in the rain as well and i had quite a scare gassing her out of a corner the other day in the rain.. only time my agility has ever spun the rear on pavement there is no safe way to drift on 2 wheels :)

Got them fitted today, picked up scoot about 2hrs ago and it immediatley feels better on the road just riding in a straight line. I got to scrub them in before I try leaning over on bends, guy said dont push it for the 1st 100mile, even made me sign a disclaimer saying he had advised this. Hes a good guy and I trust him so will follow his advice, already came off once and thats enough for me.

Any good quality tyre is going to be an improvement over stock, mine were real dodgy in the wet but ok in the dry before. Think im going to like the Bridgestones. Going to go put some miles on it right now since its a nice night for a ride. Will update at the end of the week oncei wear them in a bit.

I did soke research online myself before I got mine, the avon viper got a bad rap for wet weather by a few people. Conti- twist and conti-twist sport got a good write up so did the michelins but I couldnt get them here easily.
