Just got wind deflectors for mirrors on GV 250
« on: December 29, 2010, 09:12:12 PM »
I recently purchased at a great discount :) some wind deflectors for the GV that go around the base of the mirrors.
I am thinking the way it is aerodynamically shaped up front this will improve moving some of the breeze away from my hands, but I couldn't find many reviews of these things, and they do require actual screw holes into my plastic - so....
I was wondering if someone could tell me good news about them before I puncture my new scoot.

Thanks for any feedback, really, if you hated them, too!

I have been wanting to try these deflectors also.  Is there a channel on them that would allow double faced tape?  That was how my wife's Saab deflectors were installed and they have held up very well.

Not familiar with these deflectors.  Are they Kymco products?

I got the wind deflectors on my scoot when I purchased it, and they did have to drill holes. It is a Kymco accessory.

I just recently got the leg wind deflectors to match from the dealer, and it looks pretty cool. I think it makes a difference in the amount of noise that I hear, so I am assuming that there is less wind resistance.
