Search this part of the forum for "derestriction" and like a billion threads just like this will come up.

when youve fully derestricted it, your speedometer will tell you 65 km/h, but if you are still looking for more speed do like this:
Malossi multivar + 6g rollers (plus/minus 1, just find whats best for you) and your speedo should top at 80 km/h.

Over 9000 RPM's the CDI will only ignite every second time, until the rpm's are below 9000 again, so for more speed we will need higher gearing.
The problem with higher gearing is that the little 50ccm motor havent got enough horse powers, so change cylinder to 80ccm(this is what was originally intended by kymco, so the rest of the bike is made to deal with this, and nothing will break because of it.) and put in a naraku secondary gear, and perhaps a bigger carburator.

This should get you up to deadly high speeds, and if you are still hungering for more, you will have to get yourself a MC. :)

Hope i could help and educate, but PLEASE search the forum before asking the same questions again and again. :)

Hmmm, interesting baddi, may be why my scoot used to kinda bog slightly down hill when I was at full speed? Used to sit at 48-49mph then going down hill would feel like it rolled faster than the engine was pushing it, then seemed to catch up and go to maybe 52 mph. That was on 5.5g rollers, since upping to 6g it seems to be gone now, poss due to slight lower reving at same speed?

Maybe im way wrong tho, just a thought. Fitted a dash rpm gauge yesterday, saw im getting new to 9000rpm at top speed now on 6g rollers, about 8800rpm. Think with the 5.5g it reved a little too high.
Chaos is my co-pilot.

The theory about rollers is all about inertia and momentum. For me, with my standard cylinder, 5.5g rollers had the inertia to start gearing up at lower rpm's, but lacked the momentum to get properly up in speed, while 6g rollers had a little more inertia, which caused them to be more stable:
they started gearing a little later(less than a second later than 5.5g) but then had the momentum to keep on being in the right rpm's to get to around 50 mph :)

So the job of the rollers is to hit the effectiveness-band as much as possible, and then keeping the engine at those rpm's, while still accellerating.
After saying that, i would say that to keep accellerating past 40 Km/h with 5.5g (dont know what that is in mph), it will have to go a little bit past the effectiveness-band, and therefore it cant be stable all the way to the top, as 6g, it will wear down the engine faster, and it will consume more fuel. :D

to play it safe it all depends on how big your pocket book is.the way of spending could be endless.
but I beleave if its not broken why fix it. So I would just do the drive boss rollers and the 82 jet. And you well be doing a good 60 or better klm. If you do more Im sure you well be kicking your self later for over spending.
