I was looking at a scooter tuning page, and i saw that most guys who has 2-stroke engines, are talking about 60 mph as if it was nothing, and i was just thinking, has anyone with an agility ever run past 60 mph? and if, then what have you done to it to make it go that fast?
Yeah i know that 4-strokes are made to last not to speed, but how fast can yours go?

I do not think that 50 or 72 cc upgraded 4-stroke scoot can do GPS verified 100 km/h no matter what.
Even 125 can barely do that much, and exceed a bit.

With my zx50, my highest gps verified speed was 94kmh. The speedo was happy to show far more than that. I think there are some optimistic claims out there.

Yeah, mine tops at 50 mph too
But i wondered, have any of you guys tried naraku secondary gearing along with a bigger cylinder?
If you have, how much did it give at the top?
Sid: thats incredible speeds, what have you done to get it that high?

I was reading in another forum "scootdawg" I think, that if you do the math on the gear ratio's switching the secondairy is not advantageous for gaining more speed actually the opposite.

Upgearing would be ok, if your engine had the torque to drive it.

My Agility 50 gets past 100mph easily, not 100km/h, but 100mph, every night in my dreams. In reality im lucky to get half that tho

I have found that scooter tunner type folks are prone to exageration when it comes to there scooter's top speed. Always take such bosting with a grain of salt and a smile.

Ollie, you should get around 43-45mph showing on your speedo with a full de-restrict. Maybe a little more, maybe a little less.

More likely a little less...
Anything over 40mph and your in the 5% zone I believe.

After I derestricted mine I got 43mph on the flats, think that was with 5.5g rollers too.
