Electric choke not working, what to check first?
« on: July 26, 2011, 11:49:04 AM »
Hey guys, my electric choke dosent seem to be working. This morning my scoot wouldnt stay running until it was fully warmed up, and this is how its been since i got it. Any way to check the wiring or electric choke? I guess what i need is a wiring diagram for the entire scooter. Also is there a manual choke assembly that works on the stock carbs? Thanks

Search the forum and read the service manual, it is described in it.
You can check the choke by measuring electrical resistance of choke connection ends.
It should be somewhere around 15-18 Ohm.
