Shipping from Europe to U.S.
« on: July 28, 2011, 10:06:10 PM »
I've been snooping around on the internet and have seen some nice variators on European websites. The only problem is I live in Michigan... Has anyone every ordered parts from Europe to U.S., specifically Germany? I'm wondering how long shipping will take, my friend said a good week which I would think is super fast I was thinking something more like a month.

Some times things get held up in customs for a few days, or even weeks at a time. I ordered some parts for a r/c car that took over a month to get because they were stuck in customs overseas. I guess it depends on how big the package is too.

As above, but, I think generally if you allow 2-3 weeks you should be about right. Sometimes it might be just under 2 weeks. Bear in mind, I am in Aus. and the bits that I order are from Taiwan and U.S.
