Bushing removal?
« on: August 05, 2011, 02:29:18 PM »
hey guys. i just signed up today but have been reading posts for a few months now to enlighten myself on how to get the most out of my agility. i grew a pair and decided to take a steak knife to the edge of my CDI a couple weeks ago so now i'm at about the "after market" 36mph. i've read posts by the notorious "wordslinger" saying if you remove a bushing in the variator that you should get a few more miles out of it, as well.

question is; how is this done, exactly? i mean i'm not a doof, i know how to get in there and see what's what. just saying specifically. and does anybody have any quick photos of the specific bushing that i'm removing?

PS- is this GY6 variator kit worth it? http://www.monsterscooterparts.com/variator-kymco-50cc.html
