Giving the Engine Gas After Kick Start Kills It
« on: August 25, 2011, 03:01:16 PM »
My electric starter is broken but it has been kick starting fine. However, yesterday while riding the engine died. I could restart it using the kick starter, but everytime I gave it gas it died immediatley. Does anyone know what the problem is and how to fix it?

Thanks,
Chris

It could be a lot of things - but I would first suspect the auto enricher.  When the engine is cold can yo give it more gas without it dieing?

Have you cleaned the air filter?
ZX50, 47mm cyl. kit, TZR50 CDI. Michelin Pilot Sport tyres,
Next performance mod; pumping the tyres up.
