Polishing/Buffing?

What do you guys use to polish/buff your AG's?

I have heard running a high speed buffer on the plastic can cause damage quite easily but I've been wanting to keep her shiny and don't really know which way to go about it.

You can use a high apeed buffer on plastics just be sure you keep the surface wet and dont over buff or you will go thro tbe paint.

I uswd to do my old car now and again and just did the whole thing,plastics inc, was fine.

I used g3 compound if the paint is flat. or if you just want to shine it up use polishing compound instead, thata less abrasive.
Only do it rarely tho cos you will go thro to the paint if you do it too often.

Polishing/Buffing is really only required on flat paint or paintwork with masses of swirls or minor scratches. If the paintwork is in good nick then a clay bar followed by a good wax is your best bet, to remove surface containments followed by a good wax to seal the paintwork. The black plastic cannot really be buffed mearly dressed.

For my Agility I used Supagard on the spray painted panels with two coats of Autglym High definition wax to add a deep gloss shine including front and rear headlight . All black plastic parts were treated with Supagard Plastic/PVC protector and once dressed need next to no maintenance. Less a good clean and the odd touch up with a silicone spray for an extra sheen if required.

Waxed wheels and painted section of front damper with a final coat of Autoglym tyre shine to give clean sparkly boots.
