By OEM number do you mean the amp usage of the original bulbs?

These new bulbs were rated 14 amp.h on the package... is that not a good matchup for my 12 v battery?

That is what I meant. Those draw 14 amps per hour. That's not a big deal... Your OEM are more like 10 amps per hour. That is why the flasher is going faster... More current. Bring some extra fuses till you sort it out, and DON'T up size the fuse.

By OEM number do you mean the amp draw of the original bulbs, or the voltage going to the sockets?

I am beginning to wonder if this is possibly a grounding problem, or possibly something faulty with my relay...

By OEM I mean the part #. My thought is still you have a different configuration on the pins/base of the new bulb
