Replacing Brake Lever
« on: November 13, 2011, 08:16:46 PM »
Managed to drop my bike after it fell off the kick stand on a very slight gradient, usually use the proper stand but was just moving it out the garage to put the car away  :-[

Anyhow rear brake lever was bent slightly tried to bend it back slowly but just snapped usual cheap metal prone to fatigue I think. Anyhow ordered a new lever from Scooter Assassins and just want to check on removal and replacement?

To me it is a case of releasing tension on the rear brake via the tension screw on the drum brake and undoing the nut and bolt holding the lever to the carrier on the handle bar and then doing the reverse?

Thanks in advance
