I would personally suggest taking a riders safety course if you haven't already.  Not only will you save on insurance it may save your life.  I liked getting tips from seasoned riders on what I was doing wrong and learning how to do tricky maneuvers quickly.

I picked up my bike this past weekend. I've taken the rider safety course, when I came home and rode my bike it was amazing. The people who stop at lights in their car asking "what kind of bike  is that"  ( even Harley riders) don't beleive it's a 250. There is a but,
 I'm finding that she will some times shut off in first gear. Is there anything I can do?

I like the new pegs where did you get them or were they on the bike when you got it?

The highway pegs were on the bike when I got them.  I have been having alot of fun driving this bike to and from work weekly. I picked up a Joe Rocket jacket and its working out great.

Nice stock bike. You could check out youtube video's and I can give you many pointers on making it custom. Let out the clutch real slow in first and ease up on throttle at same time and it will not stall, Happy Ridin'. How can I load pictures like yours, my Firefox doesn't have paint option to make smaller?. I want to show off my Custom 2007 Venox somewhere over the rainbow. Thanks...
