Nice to have helped. Here's some "cheap", but helpful, upgrades I've done with my scoot I just want to share aside from the velcro thing:
1. Replaced my park lights with LEDs. I use the LED park lights instead of headlights. I'm more visible during daytime driving and the power consumption of these LEDs are negligible. Next plan is the tail light.
2. Replaced the stock tire valve cover with ones with pressure indicators. No need to check tire pressure using a tire gauge. All you need to do is glance.
3. Replaced the glass fuses with ATC blade type fuses. No more corrosion at fuse terminals.
4. Installed 2" fish eye mirrors on rear view mirrors. Now, I have a very wide rear view angle.
5. Installed a power socket (lighter socket with a rubber grommet cover) inside the utility box. Now, I can charge my cell phone while riding, power a tire inflator, etc.
