For any UK owners that don't know, VOSA changed the handbrake requirements as of June 2011, hydraulic handbrakes are no longer acceptable for any quad, it must be mechanical.
Kymco UK do a kit for this, it consists of a calliper holder and additional calliper for the rear, plus additional lever to operate, comes in at around 70 quid including VAT and carriage.
They reckon it's around 1 and a half hours labour to fit (just ordered mine so can't confirm)
