Hey, I just bought a new toy...
« on: September 06, 2012, 02:45:37 AM »
So I treated myself to something special, something I've been saving for, for years. I found the one I wanted and flew out to Chicago, Il. met the seller, took a ride, loved the car and bought it.

It's a Purple 97' Plymouth Prowler with a 10K set of flames hand painted on the hood and front sides. I drove her the 800 miles from the sellers house to mine and it was a blast!

If you want to see a few picks of the car, someone needs to send me an e-mail address so I can forward a few shots and they can post them (I don't have a photobucket or flicker account). So e-mail me if you want to see.

She's a beauty!

Congrats, 08! Nothing like saving up your money and getting something you've wanted for a time.
My wife and I are currently saving up for a new kitchen and hope to have the budget by the end of
the year.

Safe driving on 2 wheels or 4.

Very much like that one. It's a Purple with flames but the flames are a little different. She flys! I'm not a fast driver so it feels that much faster to me.

Thanks for the wishes all!

I know how happy you are bro...nothing like getting what you want (dreamed) and saved for it. I really do believe that if you really really want something and put your mind/heart into it... it will happen...  ;)

Congrats for real! New toys are just sooooo cooool. I can see you now cruising with your ascot billowing behind, and the tears streaming down your face. That's too gay Let me re think this... Your mace, and shield on the seat beside you, and the blood of conquered idiots streaming down your face.... Yeah I like that better. Good luck on the campaign.

Women have their own brand of "toys". Normally kept in their underwear drawer and used when their men are out playing with their cars and scoots  :D
