Stage 1 light cycle trim
« on: June 13, 2012, 06:16:23 PM »
Anyone else get the crazy idea to trim the heck out of their bikes with that reflective pinstriping? I did.

And no I am not done yet.

I like that, cool, nice idea and its cheap and easy to do too.

How does it last in the rain tho on the wheels?

I used to work underground (not in the mafia, but under the ground in a mine  :D ) and we used to plaster that stuff all over our helmets and boots  so we didnt get run over in the darkness, when a light hit it you lit up like an xmas tree  :D

Not sure i would go overkill on it but the rims look great, may try that myself soon.
Chaos is my co-pilot.

Is it engineering grade tape 7yr outdoor vinyl, resists acid, rain a bunch of other stuff

This is the guy I got it from, http://www.ebay.com/itm/380328426086?var=650015792563&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649#ht_8280wt_1372

fairly simple to apply. It is tedious but looks really good. Took me about 30-45mins to do but my garage was a bit cramped so that had a lot to do with it.

I replaced all the company badges and striping with reflective on mine, I thought it looked pretty cool... and I like to be seen as much as possible by cagers.

The rims of our s8 are quite not really smooth. Them stickers stick fine?
