I have a 2006 Kymco people 150 and am having some problem with starting from a dead stop. Here is what happens when i give it the gas it starts out just fine but when it goes maybe 2-3 ft then it feels like the clluth really grabs and makes the scooter jerk forward alittle and then everthing is just fine.I opened the cover and cleaned the rollers ,the roller look like they are ivory in color but no writing anywhere on them.I really don't know where to go from here.If i am needing new rollers ,Variator, clutch springs and contra spring could you please tell me what to buy and maybe where to order them.I just want the scooter to run like stock i don't need it to be faster or quicker off the line just smooth. Thank You Kevin Ratekin Topeka ks.

Maybe you need to deglaze your clutch shoes.  Try "sanding" them with some emory paper to remove the glaze and also clean the inside of the clutch bell with denatured alcohol or brake cleaner.  It worked for me when I had the same problem on my '05.  Good luck.
