I have neen playing around with my scoot the last few days it was not leting gas to the carb.it looked like at frist the fuel sender was bad.But just for the hell of it.I by passed the air cleaner that sits under the floor board. and ran the hose right to the fuel sender. And holy cow does that make a differerence.  it must make your fuel sender work better. sents more air to the tank to force gas to the carb.

Maybe your old air cleaner was dirty and restricting flow?

 Im doing some work on mine tomorrow so think ill check that out on mine too and see how it looks. Dont think i ever checked it before, been a case of out of sight out of mind.

just make sure you leave the big hose comeing off the valve cover on your your scoot well be loud.
I Took it off at frist and the scoot gets loud with it off the air cleaner..the other two hoses you can just take off. I think you like it. you can always put back if you dont.

I meant im going to check my filter is clean, i dont plan on taking it off unless i change it for a new one later maybe.

o ok Im not sure if they come apart to see if they are clean or not.
