I have the clutch off of my X500, and just took off the huge 50mm nut. My question is? How do you seperate the 2 pulley halves? Everything is tight, lubed and so on. But I don't see how to get these apart to inspect everything and make sure all is good, and to re-lube. The tech from kymco thinks the clutch pad/shoe springs may be weak and causing the belt breaking problem? I don't under stand how it could? But he should know? The pulley half that go's in and out is clean, and it go's in and out to it's full extention, so everything with it looks good.
