How to tell the year of a People 50?

Seller thinks it's a 2002 but where do I look on the scoot to verify?
(scoot shops are all closed today)

Usually the number plate should give you the awnser, thats if it has a number plate.

There is a VIN Decoder for Kymcos. The VIN is behind the lid leg shield.
