Is my cdi restricted?
« on: April 27, 2012, 06:28:52 AM »
I have just read newer bikes have de restricted cdis standard. Mine is s 2011 bike. My mate has a similar bike with same cdi but he ordered an de restricted one and hooked it up to my bike and i acheived a much higher top speed.

So i guess mines restricted?

Thanks

I emailed Kymco UK not long ago to ask this, they said ALL Agilitys leave the factory with a restricred CDi. New and old are restricted they say. Whiteknight swapped his for a race cdi, i got one for my old Speedfight from china for j
under a tenner a couple of yrs ago.

Someone posted tbe other day about his newer a50 cdi, said he pulled a wire out it to derestrict it?

Think he said purple wire needs cut but dont quote me on it. Have a quick look in the a50 section, it was a day or 2 ago at most im sure.
Chaos is my co-pilot.
