Take out you restricted boss and lathe it down level, the length is the sameso just lathe off the raised part.  Thats how i did mine and its better fitting than a smooth boss i got online.

My lathed boss and the one i got online, The online one is the really worn one, and it only did less than half the miles of the stock boss.

i've had a look in the service manual and it says the service minimum 19.97mm so i would hazard a guess at it being 20-21mm but please dont take my word for it. i couldnt find the original OD size all it stated was the service minimum.

Warrenty is warrenty, and many of the essential bolts have a blue piece of paint, so the mechanic can see, if you have had it off. If you have, then you've got no warrenty, as the warrenty only persist, if only a certified mechanic have serviced the scooter. :)

but the variator should have been looked at so he mush have removed the bolds before, in my service manual it says check belt and rollers and this section is ticked so he must have looked so the paint will have gone?

Then perhaps no problem then, when he himself have broken the seal, without painting a new line. ;)
